Lace Front 101

The lace front is constructed with a fine, sheer material to which hair is individually hand-tied. Most are ready-to-wear (pre-trimmed or pre-cut), while others require some customization (bleaching knots and plucking hair line). 

Although lace wigs address many concerns that most women have with weaves, there’s still some grooming that must be done if you plan on wearing one of these lovely pieces. It may move and feel like your real hair, but keep in mind, that it’s not! I know that you love your wig, and you have it parted over five ways, wear it in a super high pony tail and cornrow your hair. At the end of the day, it still requires time, knowledge, patience and care to look like our favorite celebrities and to maintain the overall health of the wig.
